The winning projects of the Francesco Morelli Grant 2025 have been announced

Five projects selected for their vision, design potential and real impact on people and the environment.

The Francesco Morelli Grant is an opportunity aimed at the best thesis projects from IED – Istituto Europeo di Design and Accademia di Como Aldo Galli, distinguished by originality, innovation, sustainability and social impact, with the goal of supporting their development and guiding young talents through specialized training and tailored project support.

The Francesco Morelli Grant Evaluation Committee has selected the five projects that stood out for their vision, concreteness and ability to respond innovatively to the challenges of the present. The winning projects will receive financial support and will take part in a personalized accompaniment path aimed at the development of the project.

The selected projects for the 2025 edition are:

  • Foremyc. Technology for Alpine Forests, Product Design IED Milano - Federico Luigi Gabrieli, Francesco Cantoni, Bartolomeo Chinali e Iari Vanoschi
  • Acliva, Product Design IED Milano - Eva Affato, Raffaele Pancallo e Irene Beretta
  • Unmasked: A Board Game About Gender Roles, Graphic Design IED Milano - Marcella Buono
  • Elevia, Product Design IED Barcelona - Reina Tay Bou Dargham
  • Oltrevia, Product Design IED Roma - Giovanni Zimatore

During the second phase of the program, each project will be supported by a personalized mentoring path, aimed at fostering its growth and development.

Through this initiative, the Francesco Morelli Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting young design talents, promoting access to project culture, and fostering the professional growth of the next generation of creatives.
