On Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, 2026, YAWP Festival_In piedi sui banchi di scuola returns. This event, promoted by the Fondazione Francesco Morelli under the artistic direction of Benedetta Marietti, is dedicated to the future of education.
Two days during which schools open up to other disciplines and knowledge becomes a shared experience: talks, workshops, YAWP kids, and performances for children, students, teachers, and citizens.
An open and inclusive space for dialogue to envision a school capable of responding to global challenges, promoting equity and sustainability, and generating social and cultural value.
The term YAWP, taken from a famous poem by Walt Whitman and made famous by the film "Dead Poets Society" evokes a liberating cry: an invitation to take control of one’s own destiny.
